Tour: Arcola Theatre and Hackney Society AGM

The Board of Trustees of the Hackney Society cordially invites you to the Society’s Annual General Meeting on

Tuesday 15th November at The Arcola Theatre, 24 Ashwin Street, Dalston, E8 3DL

6pm (note the early start) for a tour of the Arcola Theatre.

The Arcola Theatre encompasses cutting-edge, award winning plays and community involvement in a converted paint and dye works in Dalston Town Centre. It is "locally engaged and internationally minded", and aims to become the world's first Carbon Neutral theatre. One of the means to this end was re-using over 10,000 bricks plus the factory's original timbers in the building's renovation. The tour will be lead by theatre staff.

The tour will be followed by the formal Annual General Meeting, at 7pm.

• Train: 2 minutes walk from Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction Overground stations
• Buses: 149, 242, 67, 76, 243, 38, 56, 30, 277 all stop near Dalston Junction
• Car: on-street parking is extremely limited and travel by car is discouraged.
