Collecting Cultures: Made in Barking Dagenham

TALK on Thursday 10 July 2014, 7pm

Eastbury Manor House is hosting a talk by historian Dr Ann Robey. She will be talking about the Collecting Cultures project, an initiative set up by the Heritage Lottery Fund, which supports museums, libraries and archives to develop their collections through strategic acquisition projects. The project has been collecting objects associated with Barking and Dagenham’s industrial past and focusing on the companies that once made Barking and Dagenham a hive of industry.

The event costs £5, including a glass of wine, and will be held at Eastbury Square, Barking, IG11 9SN.
