1. History of Homerton Heritage Walk

Route: Homerton Library - Chat's Palace - Hackney Marshes - Wick Wood - Olympic Park edge - Mabley Green (4km)
Content: Participants will hear about the history of Homerton's Dissenters, celebrate its Carnegie library turned art centre (Chat's Palace) and see how Hackney Marshes is being used to make a greener Hackney. We'll also take a stroll up to the edge of the Olympic site and see what's new at the Queen Elizabeth II Park.
2. Library Open Day
Time: 1pm – 8:15pm
