Objection based on confusing and incomplete documentation. Failure to provide views from West or North makes it impossible to judge the impact on Drysdale or Hoxton Streets. As the application fails to demonstrate the impact of the proposal on the conservation area, we formally request that the SCAAC be re-consulted in the event that further information is submitted to the Council prior to a decision being taken.

Objection. The scale of the proposed signage at such a prominent corner of the Conservation Area would be severely detrimental to the streetscape, harming the setting of the nearby Listed Building. This open space, far from 'an eyesore' as described in the application, provides a bit of relief on a corner already dominated by an outsize advertisement extending around two sides of No. 333 across Old Street.
