We have no objection to the illuminated signs but we suggest that the pavement at this point would be less cluttered if it were possible to relocate the electronics structure or remove (or even relocate) the adjacent JCDecaux advertising unit.

We object to the proposed roof dormer. Although described as matching the dormer at number 34 the latter has a round window, and the dormer in the paired villa is a more conventional style. We also object to the enlargement of the front ground floor window which would have a detremental effect on the terrace. We are concerned about the windows on the proposed extension that are facing the neighbouring properties and raise the issue of overlooking. We are pleased that the uPVC windows are to be replaced but we think that they should remain as sash windows and not be casements as proposed. This would reinforce the historical detail of the original building and contrast with the new extension.
