We have some concerns about this application most notably that there is only one kitchen, albeit large, for seven people. We think that one sink and one hob may be inadequate. We also think that the proposed windows should match the existing.
2022/2318 93 Balls Pond Road, N1 4BL Restore front steps and cover with asphalt Listed Building Consent (Micheal Garvey)
We object to this application. Asphalt as a finish is not an appropriate material for a listed building and terrace.

We have no objection provided that the detailing is appropriate.
2022/2715 35 Northchurch Road, N1 4ED Replacement of front door [in association with Householder Application 2022/2623]. Listed Building Consent (Alix Hauser)
We have no objection but we did wonder whether this was an original front door with the upper wooden panels replaced by glazing. If this is the case and the door is in good condition then a qualified carpenter could restore the upper panels.

We have no objection in principle but we think that the panels should sit tidily within the roof form and that there is one too many on the south facing roof. We wonder why the applicant is not proposing to install panels on the flat roof of the extension.

We have no objection to this application. However we did wonder about the rooflights to the rear of the building at upper ground floor level - how is the rainwater discharged?

This is the second application for change of use to residential and, although the flats have been reconfigured, the layout is still poor. There are some overlooking issues, the ventilation is limited and waste management has not been addressed.
