The SCAAC objects to the massing of the proposed building which is overwhelming, particularly viewed from Holywell Row and Worship St. , The top floors are overbearing in scale and the colour is not part of the palette of local colours.

The SCAAC objects. There is a lack of sense of proportion. The architectural language is completely out of context, with no evidence of architectural refinement. There is no understanding of traditional alignment of terrace design and urban design. .

The SCAAC would like to point out that this installation of internally illuminated signs contravenes the Conservation Area shopfront guidelines.
